To make sure this project succeeds we need a lot of help. For example, we can use more partners for collaboration, committed sponsors, experienced divers, website creators, ambassadors, photographers and reporters. A big thank you goes out to the people who helped us in 2009. We want to mention a few people especially.

Cor Kuyvenhoven for taking the many beautiful and unique underwater shots.

If you would like to see more of his work we recommend to take a look at his website.

Floris van Enter for building the website.

Annet van Aarsen for writing van catching articles.

Cor, Floris, Annet and Pascal van Erp for acting as a team in this project and the dive activities during clean-up days. And of course all the other divers who came along and helped us rescue many animals and removing nets!

Charter Aquila has supported the project in a great way. The owners Willem en Paula Schouwenaar took us aboard and sailed out with just the costs of the fuel. Why? Because they also care a lot about the North Sea and want to support our project.

Without the “Blue Whale” – Jaap de Bruin (owner) en Ruud Lievaart (schipper en duiker) – we could not reach a lot of wrecks. They support us in a very professional way to give us the ability to complete our work in safety.

In the last months of 2009 we removed the last remaining nets on the wreck “the Aboukir”. Vereniging Kust & Zee (Coast & Sea) sponsored these days completely. During our activities we had Vroege Vogels Radio en TV (Dutch nature programs) visiting us. “We think it is extraordinary that this group divers voluntarily in their free time reach so much with the risk of their own safety. These people are without doubt heroes of the North Sea. They have a goal to give back the save shelter in the wrecks to as many sea creatures as possible, according to Albert Salman, director Vereniging Kust & Zee.

Oracle Nederland BV have supported us by covering the fuel costs for ten cleanup days. They organised a lunch where Ben and Klaudie got the oppertunity to show why the cleanup project was initiated. Not only the action itself was given attention, people where also informed how to use the North Sea products in a durable way.

Ook PIEËE System Integration B.V. supports our project. The adopted a complete dive team for a day. One of their employees is diving in the North Sea for many years and saw with his own eyes the need of a cleanup project.
